Bienvenue

Le Network was set up by Sue COOK and Janick DOUGNAC as we were aware that there was no regional group for business people in the Haute Vienne. We are both members of the Franco-Britannique Chamber of Commerce in the Correze and had always admired the work of Amanda Kiff in bringing people together.  The Correze Chamber of Commerce put on a number of events throughout the year which enable both businesses and individuals to meet up and share common experiences, build business relationships and get together in a social atmosphere. This is a fantastic way of meeting people you may not generally come across and many business relationships have been forged at these meetings.

With this in mind we set up Le Network. The aim of the association is to bring together people from all over the Haute Vienne and surrounding regions, providing information and support and working closely with the Chamber of Commerce and Chambre de Metiers to give our members up to date information about the regulations and necessary steps when running a business in France.

Another important intention is to set up a Business directory with the names of all our members and, most importantly, recommendations from those who have used their services. Everyone knows that the best advertising is word of mouth, not only is it free but people trust this more than anything. The directory will enable anyone looking for say a builder or an accountant to be able to contact previous clients giving them the peace of mind that they are hiring someone trustworthy and skilled.

There is a cost to all this but the association is non-profit making and neither Sue nor Janick will take a wage. With this in mind we have set a joining fee of €120 per year for businesses and €60 a year for individuals. This will go towards providing things like aperitifs at some meetings or publicising events to get more people to join thus increasing the network. All business members will get publicity on all our flyers and we will have a table for advertising leaflets at all events so for €10 per month we will get your name known to as many people as possible.

We meet in Rochechouart or St Junien on a monthly basis.
